The Golden Retriever Club of Northumbria held a 2 Day Open Field Trial, Monday and Tuesday this week, by Kind permission of Farndale Sporting and Paul Wright.
The weather in Farndale on the first day was kind to us, the second day proved more challenging, as did the ground. This ground provides the opportunity to show the expertise of dog and handler. I am forever grateful for Paul Wrights time and input, thanks also for organising a great team of guns, spaniels and picker up Nick.
Thanks to the judges Paul Hasney, Paul Stogden and a massive thank you to Sue Hales-Lowe for stepping in at the last minute.
Thank you to the 2 committee members Barbara Mohan and Sandra Richardson for helping over the 2 days, it wasn't easy walking, especially carrying game. A big thankyou to Dennis McDonnell for carrying game and supporting myself and Wendy over the last 3 years, at this trial.
Thanks to SKINNERS for continually supporting the club.
